Hide dock item
I would love to have this app open all the time since I enjoy the global hotkey to open the quick entry to-do menu but as someone who hates having apps open in their dock I find myself avoiding this. It would be nice if there was an app setting to hide the dock item and instead have the app live in the menu bar.

MCP Connector
Google does not provide an MCP connection with Google Tasks. It would be great if KiteTasks added an MCP server option for those of us who want to integrate our Google Tasks with Claude. This way I can work within KiteTasks but also keep track of all my tasks, time ledger, and etc within Claude for my business needs.

Allow calendar filtering
I have ~10 calendars in my Apple calendars, if I turn them on there’s only one or two I wanna see alongside my tasks, but currently it’s an all or nothing approach. It would be great to allow the user to select which Apple calendars they would like to display

Tasks from Google Tasks can have a time attached, but there’s no way to add (through natural language capture or otherwise) a time to Tasks created via Kitetasks, and times added in the Google Tasks web UI don’t show in the Mac app

Remember which lists are hidden (not displayed) between app launches
The app when opened fresh does not honor previous session list hiding. I frequently have 2+ lists that I only use occasionally and do not need to eat into the window’s workspace for the empty list to be displayed

Bug Fix - Due dates
When creating a new task in-app and selecting “Today” upon creation the app shows “Yesterday” as the due date. I’ve also seen other tasks when using the picker for dates rollback 1 day from the selection once updated.
