Hide dock item

I would love to have this app open all the time since I enjoy the global hotkey to open the quick entry to-do menu but as someone who hates having apps open in their dock I find myself avoiding this. It would be nice if there was an app setting to hide the dock item and instead have the app live in the menu bar.
